Railroad Structures, Statewide

Because there are so many railroad depots and other structures spread so widely throughout the state, it is hard to get a complete report. The latest on the Las Vegas depot is that construction begins on Jan 13, and that recently approved changes to the architectural plan will allow the station to receive full-size intercity busses, making it a true intermodal center. The station will serve Amtrak and the local City bus service. Contract negotiations with TNM&O are underway to use the depot as their local terminal as well.

Since 1991, the depot in Artesia has been restored as a visitor center.
