Albuquerque Locomotive Shops, Bernalillo County

UPDATE: The WHEELS Museum is making good, steady progress toward a master and business plan for the site. The annual fundraiser was a huge success, and membership is growing daily. President Leba Freed reports Governor Bill Richardson is very committed to the project as is Mayor Martin Chavez. The group is working with Chris Leinberger, and other partners. They have a wonderful new "Idea Book" prepared for them by SW Museum Consultants at no charge, and available to be seen at the office, 601 First SW, Albuquerque. Visit the website at http://www.wheelsmuseum.org or call anytime for a visit, 243-6269
