- Since 1986, Cornerstones Community Partnerships has worked to preserve architectural heritage and community traditions at more than 300 locations in New Mexico and theGreater Southwest.
- The Historical Society of New Mexico is an active group of New Mexico history enthusiasts. In addition to sponsoring an annual history conference and speakers bureau, the society is dedicated to:
- Increasing the knowledge of New Mexico history
- Disseminating information on New Mexico history
- Encouraging preservation of historic objects and property
- The mission of the Old Santa Fe Association is to promote the prosperity and welfare of the City and County of Santa Fe and their inhabitants, to preserve and maintain the ancient landmarks, historical structures and traditions of Old Santa Fe and to guide their growth and development in such a way as to promote that unique charm and distinction, born of age,culture, tradition and environment, which are the priceless assets and heritage of Santa Fe.
- The Historic Santa Fe Foundation (HSFF) is an organization that has thrived since it was founded in 1961. Our mission is to own, preserve and protect historic properties and resources of Santa Fe and its environs and to provide historic preservation education.
- The mission of the New Mexico Historic Preservation Division is to protect, preserve and interpret the unique character of New Mexico by:
- identifying, documenting (recording), evaluating and registering prehistoric and historic properties throughout New Mexico;
- coordinating historic preservation activities at all levels of government in New Mexico and with individuals, private organizations, and traditional communities;
- educating the public about historic preservation; and
- protecting and preserving significant historic and prehistoric sites throughout the State.
